Admission Procedure
Prior to beginning any of the
necessary admission paperwork, each prospective resident
and/ or their family should tour the Villa Maria Community,
meet our staff and determine that the Villa Maria best suits
their needs. To arrange a guided tour of our facility and discuss how
Villa Maria Retirement Community can meet your individual needs, please
give us a call at (616)459-9701 at your convenience.
A. Medical Assessment are
performed by our licensed staff. A non–refundable $125.00
assessment fee is required. This fee covers the cost of the
nursing assessment to determine the level of personal care
services needed for the prospective resident.
B. Upon notification of
acceptance, the new resident and/or their family should
schedule an appointment to view all available rooms. You
should bring your social security card, Medicare and other
supplemental insurance cards with you at this time in order
to complete necessary paperwork. A $1,000.00 security
deposit will be collected at this time.
C. Once desired room is prepared for
occupancy the resident has a grace period of up to 30 days to complete move-in arrangements. If resident is
unable to complete move-in within this time period,
collection of rental fees will begin.
D. Residents should bring a
current supply of all medications and transfer remaining
refills to one of the following associated pharmacies.
